From I-70: Take Exit 151. Go north on US 27 about 1/4 mile, turn right (east) onto Highland Road, go 1 mile, turn right on Cart Rd and follow the signs.

From 27 headed north - there is a closed bridge. Just before the bridge, turn left. Turn right on 8th street, go over the railroad tracks, turn right on H St., left on Chester/27. Our campground also has a nature trail that is located on the property. This trail is suitable for all ages and is only ¾ a mile long. Perfect for anyone that can’t take advantage of Richmond’s great hiking trails located just outside the campground.

We have a short 3/4 mile nature trail on our property that is suitable for all ages. Great for a family activity or an evening romantic stroll. There are also great hiking trails available at Whitewater Gorge, Arboretum, Middlefork Reservoir and Glen Miller Park.
Enjoy Catch & Release Fishing at our campground's fishing pond! The pond has catfish, bass, and sunnies for all ages to catch & release. We even have a crowd-favorite catfish, Big Bertha. Our campground pool is the perfect escape from the summer heat. We just added solar heat to our pool as well (July 2023)! So on cooler nights, you can relax in the heated pool under the stars!
Our pool is open from 5/27-9/5 and anyone under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

Downpour Derby is an interactive wet play attraction for the whole family. Challenge a friend or family member to see who can crank the handle more quickly! Be sure to watch what happens as water will dump on either you or your opponent, depending on who has the fastest moves. This attraction is open even when the pool might not be for those warm summer evenings and early season warm spells.
Who wouldn't want to pedal around on our campground pond?! Paddle boats are available to rent to soak up the sun or get a prime fishing spot not on the shore!
Attention all candy lovers and bingo players, we have a super fun event just for you! Come play several rounds of bingo and play against fellow campers!
Here's how it works: You show up at the pavilion with a candy bar. Don't worry if you forgot to bring one, they sell them in the general store. You don't get that sweet goodness yet though! You next exchange your candy for a bingo card: your ticket to winning something back.
